As a Senior C++ Developer, you will implement and test radar signal processing algorithms on GPU and SoC based architectures for use in automotive imaging radar systems and to enable fusion of radar outputs with other sensors as part of a broader active safety platform.

• Participation in full life cycle software development tasks utilizing primarily the C++ programming language on Ubuntu Linux development platform.
• Development and implementation of GPU-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) algorithms.
• Execution of work tasks in an agile development environment as an independent contributing member of an energetic, mission driven design team.
• Applying modern and innovative design approaches to re-factor and improve upon existing code bases and development.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ development experience with C++.
• Strong mathematical background, including linear algebra, statistics, and probability theory.
• Ability to work independently as part of a small team.
• Passionate about finding and fixing problems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to communicate solutions clearly both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experienced with implementing parallel processing algorithms on a GPU, for instance using Nvidia CUDA.
• Professional experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
• Direct experience or knowledge of implementing algorithms for MIMO radars, i.e. MIMO radar, super-resolution techniques, 2D FFT, CFAR, clustering, target tracking filters, target classification.
• Experience or education with sensor fusion, general robotics, computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Location:

The role can be fully-remote, hybrid or located at one of our offices in Limerick (Ireland), Belfast (Northern Ireland) or Pittsburgh (US).
